Pacquiao vs Mayweather: Most anticipated Super fight or Boring fight?
Boxing fans around the globe can not wait any longer for an affirmative match up between the newly crowned all time great pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao and the undefeated self proclaimed greatest fighter of all time Floyd Mayweather Jr. The upcoming fight is surrounded by rumors, according to Paulie Malignaggi and Mayweather Sr., Pacquiao's uber human boxing prowess is impossible without the help of steroids or other pacquiao power enhancers. Anyway, I have a feeling that Bob Arum will have a hard time with this fight to bring into reality, the fight itself is like ego vs ego. Pacquiao might ask for a bigger share mainly because of his record breaking 7 championship titles in 7 different weight divisions. Floyd Mayweather Jr. may ask for a bigger share because he is insisting that he's the cash cow base on his 2.4M ppv buys when he fought Oscar Dela Hoya. Wait! I thought Oscar Dela Hoya is the real cash cow? Freddie Roach stated that the fight could happen in a very easy way, he even stated that the fight will happen even at 50/50 share, but analysts out there said that the best split (so Floyd won't have a escape goat) is 40/40 or 45/45 and the rest is winner take's all. I'd take the 40/40, the winner gets another 20% of the pie. Fair enough Floyd? That sounds fair to me and to all of us boxing wannabes. Another rumor is that Floyd Mayweather Jr. could not wait any longer and instead wants to fight early next year. That is 100% unbelievable, boxing fans are now focus on the upcoming superfight and believe me, if Pacquiao or Mayweather Jr. fight any boxer other than them, that fight won't even make a 500k ppv buys. Manny Pacquiao answered the question if he wants to fight Mayweather jr. next year. He said, Yes I will fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.! Floyd Mayweather Jr. insisted that Pacquiao is just a one dimensional, won't stand a chance of winning and he'll just KO the pound for pound king. Floyd can say anything about Pacquiao for the meantime, noone knows if Floyd has the balls to even face Pacquiao in the ring. We can say this is just a front bravery act, the most interesting part is this, he didn't answer the question if he will fight Manny Pacquiao next year, it was his manager that keeps on answering all those questions. So, just like what Joe Calzaghe said if Mayweather doesn't want to fight Pacquiao then better retire again. Pacquiao is one of the most exciting boxers to watch, a true pound for pound boxer. His speed and newfound skills is just way better compared to his previous opponents. Pacquiao's power and toughness were once again proven when he fought Miguel Cotto. Mayweather is an excellent defensive boxer, make no mistake, Floyd has the speed also. His defensive style is pretty much very effective tactic, he has a good way to frustrate any opponent. Floyd maybe super cocky but his 40-0 standing speaks for itself. Mayweather fights aren't exciting at all compare to Pacquiao, but his capability to overly hype his fights proved successful. Boxing fans worldwide are all ready for the most anticipated super fight of 2010 - Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. The question now is, will it be a real super fight or a world class boring fight? |

Festival of mass animal sacrifice begins in Nepal
Over two days, 200,000 buffaloes, goats, chickens and pigeons will be killed as part of a blood-soaked festival held every five years to honor Gadhimai, a Hindu goddess of power.
While cows are sacred and protected by law in Nepal, animal sacrifice has a long history in this overwhelmingly Hindu country and parts of neighboring India. The Bariyapur festival has become so big, in part, because such ceremonies have been banned in many areas in the neighboring Indian state of Bihar.
And while it is criticized by animal-rights protesters, the festival is defended as a centuries-old tradition.
Many Nepalis believe that sacrifices in Gadhimai's honor will bring them prosperity. They also believe that by eating the meat, which is taken back to their villages and consumed during feasts, they will be protected from evil. - continue
Note:
If this stupid killings will really bring them prosperity then why in the heck they are still living in slump areas after centuries of doing this cruel ceremonies.
Slaughter of the Calderon Dolphins
The hunts, called "grindadráp" in Faroese, are non-commercial and are organized on a community level; anyone can participate. The hunters first surround the pilot whales with a wide semicircle of boats. The boats then drive the pilot whales slowly into a bay or to the bottom of a fjord.
Most Faroese consider the hunt an important part of their culture and history. Animal-rights groups criticize the hunt as being cruel and unnecessary, while the hunters claim in return that most journalists do not exhibit sufficient knowledge of the catch methods or its economic significance.
If this cruelty is true, whether they eat the meat and blubbers, killing a thousand of this gentle sea creatures in a single day is simply one of the most stupid moronic brutal act ever in the history of mankind.

Twilight New Moon Video
The Twilight sequel has far more romance, suspense, action, and awesome special effects. The Twilight Saga's New Moon" itself is an adaptation to Stephenie Meyer's second novel of her "Twilight" series. It will follow Bella when she is left abruptly by Edward. Being unguarded from outside threat and devastated following his departure, Bella is comforted by her growing friendship with Jacob. New Moon added new exciting characters such as Dakota Fanning (mind control freak) and the members of Jacob's lycanthropic Quileute tribe. Coolest one here is that every actor who plays a member of the Quileute tribe is an authentic Native American; they all had to produce documents proving their descent before they were given their roles.
What freaks me out was when Jacob removed his shirt, I bet 70% of he girls inside the cinema have screamed up to their lungs. The guy is ripped but I bet he's no way near my appeal (joke).
The New Moon ending is awesome, to the point I want to scream! Don't fail to watch New Moon!
BTW:
Eclipse is set for release June 30, 2010!

There is and will be only one Manny Pacquiao
A small boxer weighing only 106lbs. won his first ever championship in the Philippines. He achieved his first world and lineal title when he won the lineal champ Chatchai Sasakul at 112lbs. Pacquiao's world championship bouts with Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Dela Hoya, Hatton and Cotto skyrocketed his career to the point that he has been included by Time Magazine as one of the world's most influential people for the year 2009. He is also one of the lucky few to graced the cover of Time magazine.
"Pacquiao is the greatest boxer I've ever seen, and I've seen them all, including Ali, Hagler and Sugar Ray Leonard. - Bob Arum

Elizabeth Lambert of New Mexico Lobos
Before you post your angst and wild comments at her, let me show you some pointers here. First, the reason why she hit the girl in the back because the latter elbowed her right in the middle of her stomach. And yeah that hurts! The second one, although it seems that she's really mean by without question he grabbed her opponent's hair and then pulled her down, sending the girl on the ground crying. But wait, look closely she pulled the girl's hair because she was holding her shorts or whatnot and yes this is a soccer game. It's normal to be very physical.
Elizabeth Lambert is not that so bad after all. What's your thought?
