I want a Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight

Shane Mosley's most recent interview rocked the boxing world again, insisting that a Mosley - Pacquiao bout will bring in more cash than a Pacquiao vs Cotto mega fight. How could he possibly say that fighting him means more money? Miguel Cotto even defeated him in a dramatic fight, it doesn't mean he defeated Antonio Margarito (note: Cotto lost to Margarito) made him the better man. The fact that Antonio Margarito's trainer used illegal hardening substance, made me realized that Miguel Cotto could have won that fight, anyway it wasn't proven yet that Margarito's camp used it during the Cotto - Margarito bout.

Manny Pacquiao is now the most popular boxer, every boxer wants a piece of him. A fight with him means only one thing - Money! The only boxer that rejects this idea is Floyd Mayweather jr. who's supposed to fight Juan Manuel Marquez this coming July 18, 2009 but was postponed due to a Mayweather's rib cartilage injury during training :?:. Mayweather jr. is a tactical boxer, no doubt about it, his defense is one of the best, he's also the former pound for pound king but that was over long time ago, the moment he rejected to fight Cotto, Mosley and Margarito his career just ended in a snap. Why? I don't know, probably his super duper ego is lifting him up so high that he forgot he's retired - ducking the best welterweight boxers that he should fight before he went to retirement. I'm not saying his career is completely over, he just came out from retirement du-duh, and he will fight Shane Mosley just kidding, he's into Juan Manuel Marquez really! Guess what, he is so proud he's going to have a fight with Juan Manuel Marquez - Floydy is the funniest guy in the boxing world today.

Hey, what about a Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather bout? I've read an article one time that Floyd Mayweather Jr. stressed out that he will never fight Mosley? I think a Mosley - Mayweather jr will make more money than a Marquez - Mayweather jr. fight. Agree? Probably the rumors are correct, poor ticket sales postponed the fight and not the rib cartilage injury. Now, I'm curious why Floyd Mayweather Jr. is ducking Shane Mosley? Are they blood brothers? Why in the heck Golden Boy Promotion put Juan Manuel Marquez in front of Floyd Mayweather Jr. when they have Shane Mosley; the current welterweight champion. Marquez vs Mayweather jr. was postponed, and nobody (do you?) knows when the fight will resume. Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. must really happen! What do you think uncle Oscar?

    Both Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley were bred to be fighters like a farmer’s prized horse. Both guys grew up with boxing gloves hanging from their crib ceilings. The debating can go on and on forever. The bottom line is neither guy is going to give you an inch – both fighters are relaxed in the ring, comfortable and fluid in such a way that it’s easy to believe boxing pumps through their veins in absence of blood. Mayweather vs Mosley im really looking forward to. Mayweather looked untouchable against the smaller Marquez and Mosley was awesome against Margarito. That fight was 18 months ago and previous to that Mosley looked ordinary against a washed up Mayorga. So is Shane still in top nick? I see Mosley starting fast using his jab to take the early rounds. Floyd usually starts slowly but will take control around round 5. The usual dropping of the shoulder and lightning counter punching will take Floyd home to a points victory and hopefully setting up the fight with Manny.

    This is a sticky category if there ever was one. Both Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley were bred to be fighters like a farmer’s prized horse. Both guys grew up with boxing gloves hanging from their crib ceilings. The debating can go on and on forever. The bottom line is neither guy is going to give you an inch – both fighters are relaxed in the ring, comfortable and fluid in such a way that it’s easy to believe boxing pumps through their veins in absence of blood. This fight, however, is taking place in the welterweight division and when any objective person looks at both fighters resumes from the 147lb landscape, it’s a lot less tricky to figure out just who holds an edge.
